The headers and exhaust have been fabricated and are on the car. They will be removed to be sent for coating.
The floor board was removed to show mounting backers for her the exhaust.
As you can see here, the exhaust is tucked up under the car as much as is physically possible. Being that the rear end is rather narrow, there would be a lot of difficulty routing the pipes over the rear end. Also doing it this way looks better in my opinion, plus there is less restrictions with the exhaust not flowing thorough sharp bends.
