THE MOTOR IS BACK FROM THE ZIMMERMAN RACING.
Just a few notes on the motor.
The block will be painted the same color as the body. I haven't settled on the exact color yet. Although it will definitely be a shade of yellow. I just don't know how dark.
I have loaded a few shots to see it from different angles. The valve covers have not been polished yet. This will be done after the motor is installed so they don't worry about minor scratches.
I'm hoping to find a engine dyno that can handle the hemi. I will probably end up using a chassis dyno when the car is completed. We are looking to get 900hp and 750fp of torque with the blower 15% under driven and 1400hp and 850fp of torque with the blower 15% over driven. To have it streetable it will be 15% under driven. That's where the fuel injection comes in.
I'm looking for a dyno shop in the Phoenix area that can handle this size of motor. If anyone knows of one please email me. I would appreciate it very much.
